Edgar Brothers donates air rifle as prize for Airgun Forum charity raffle

Edgar Brothers has donated a Hatsan air rifle as a raffle prize for the annual Airgun Forum charity meet, to be held in August.

The Hatsan Breaker 900x is a spring-powered break barrel air rifle, featuring a fully ambidextrous stock and an efficient moderator. With open sights, and a wooden stock, the Breaker 900x comes with Monte Carlo cheek pieces, adjustable trigger pull and a rubber butt pad and is based on the popular Hatsan Striker series of air rifles.

The meet, which is raising money for Acorns Childrens’ Hospice, is taking place on 31 August and 1 September, and will be held at Nomads HFT & Airgun Club, in Worcestershire. Airgunforum.co.uk has been going for 12 years, and has 38,000 registered members and has held eight meets to date. Tickets will be sold at the event, which is open to all members to attend.

Carl Clayton, who helps to organise the donations for Airgun Forum, commented: “I and everyone at Airgunforum.co.uk are extremely grateful for the incredibly generous prize of a Hatsan Breaker rifle donated by Edgar Brothers. The generosity of the shooting community never fails to impress me, and this fantastic prize will surely encourage our members to dig deep and help us to raise a lot of money towards the Acorns Childrens’ Hospice, which is such a worthwhile cause.”

Edgar Brothers’ managing director Derek Edgar added: “We’re delighted to be able to contribute a great prize to such a worthy cause. It’s great that Airgun Forum organises this meet, giving their members the chance to get together and have a great weekend of shooting, as well as raising money towards something that will improve the lives of children and their families coping with difficult times through illness and disability.”
